We were invited to dine with friends at their house; 2 hours drive from Woodstock. Stopped here to grab an "appetizer", a cheese pizza. Oohhhh boyyyy it was so delicious we were thinking of it all night regretting not having our complete meal at Pizza Chef. Highly recommend it. It was just perfect!!!!!!!!!
Pizza Chef in Woodstock completely exceeded my expectations. The pizza was super flavorful, with a perfectly balanced crust—crispy, yet soft in all the right places. The Greek salad was out of this world, with fresh ingredients and just the right portion size. To top it off, their beer selection was surprisingly good. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxed, and has a super towny, local feel—but in the best way possible. Very friendly staff and a welcoming vibe. I was completely amazed and pleasantly surprised by this place. Definitely coming back!
Great pizza and the specials - barbecued chicken or a lobster dinner, for example - can't be beat. The chef is creative and their specials are fantastic. The only thing I might add would be music. Then the ambience would be as enjoyable as the food!
Great little pizza spot! My family and I are from Connecticut, so we know our pizza, and we loved it! Stopped in for a quick lunch and both the pizza and service were excellent. Highly recommend, for takeout or to sit and enjoy yourself

I took my wife and kids here after some shopping in downtown Woodstock. I'm so glad we got out of the main street area and found this place. Great Italian sausage, pepper, and onions sub. Perfectly toasted roll for the sub and the sausage had a nice kick to it. Good selection of draft beers and my kids loved their pizza even as native New Yorkers.
“What’s good?” I asked when I walked in, and the guy behind the counter says “it’s all good.” Regarding what we ate, the steak and cheese and Italian, that’s absolutely true.
Drove up to see the eclipse and was ravenous after hours of driving. We ordered a personal cheese and a personal pulled pork pizza. They were so good we nearly burned ourselves because we couldn't stop eating. Especially the cheese pizza. Hands down some of the best pizza I've ever had. And they were so friendly and pleasant to talk to! The decor was unique and the place was very cozy. We sat at a window booth and someone was playing the piano; it added so much to the vibe.
